It's a pleasure to inform you that on Friday; a Computer Based Training solution on the Microsoft Office Suite of products will be launched.
We will have a competition; lucky draw and lot, lots more.
As part of the Launch, we would also like to give each Department/Unit (who is interested) an opportunity to inform all RISA staff a bit more about the things and processes that are going on in their Unit/Department. All you need to do is prepare a flyer with relevant info you would like to convey to all RISA staff about your unit's activities, dead line dates etc. Please attach a 'treat-or-eat' to your flyers - this will form part of the 10:00 tea-time snack.
(There will also be a small surprise for the Staff members of the Departments who participate in the 'promotion'). Please inform Rona (x4222) no later than 27 October 2006 should your Department wish to participate.
The programme for the day will then be more or less as follows:
10:00 - 10:30 All RISA-staff members meet in the Atrium and attend a 15min presentation on the training software and get their entry form.
10:30 - 10:45 All RISA-staff members pay a quick visit to the various company-Departments' exhibitions and receive their flyer and 'treat-or-eat' (e.g. a small snack or drink for those company Staff members who are interested to find out more about what your Department has to offer).
10:45 - 15:00 Staff members are back in their offices working. Competition form can be completed during breaks. Intoweb-trainers and IT Staff will come to visit you during the course of the day and to make sure you understand how the training software works. Any uncertainties regarding the product can then be sorted out.
15:00 - 15:15 All RISA-staff members meet in the Atrium and hand in their Competition forms for the Lucky Draw and take a last visit to the company-Department's exhibitions.
15:15 - 15:30 Lucky draw takes place and the Lucky winner takes home his/her Television.
This is an excellent opportunity to uplift the Microsoft skills of all company staff which will make us more effective and efficient. Our strength and opportunities as an organisation lies in daily improvement of our knowledge and skills. This Training Solution can be the vehicle to provide company staff with these skills and we hope that you will embrace this initiative.
